On 14th and 15th May 2022 Marianske Lazne/Marienbad celebrated 120 years of electric public transport as well as 70 years of trolleybus operation. It is a little sort of miracle that there is electric public transport in form of a smart little trolleybus system still in operation because in the last 20 years there were always activities to close this trolleybus system. But this famous spa resort remembers it`s tradition and therefor could celebrate the history of tram as well as trolleybus since 1902 and looking into the future with a modern trolleybus fleet of 8 SKODA 30Tr built in 2020 and serving at the moment 2 lines (6 and 7).

On 14th and 15th May 2022 there was a line "H" in operation , working between Antonickuv pramen/Antonius Quelle and City as line 3 did before the pandemie. Line "H" was operated by two historic trolleybuses from Plzen/Pilsen - SKODA 9Tr 323 built in 1979 and 14Tr 429 built in 1989. Both typs were once typical for the system of Marianske Lazne / Marienbad and it would be a great idear to opereate historic trolleybuses during the summer spa season regulary, because line "H" was a great sucess always with happy passengers on board of the historic trolleybuses.

Since the pandemic line 3 and 5 are not in operation - instead of them a line 7 works, covering almost the whole system from Antonickuv pramen via Nadrazi to Chebska and further on tot he city center and turning via Goethova nam., Line 6 operates the interurban branch to Klimentov as used.
